Today we performed in Montreat College for a Heritage Folk Festival fundraiser (flyer). The program was mostly Christmas Music to a packed Upper Anderson Auditorium. Local favorites AppalachiaSong opened the program, Rodney Sutton and daughter gave a clogging exhibition, and Glenn Bannerman was the MC and dance caller.

After the concert, we met friends Karlene and George Beverly Shea at the Huddle House in Black Mountain, for some fellowship and singing. Karlene's daughter Nancy was there, along with Maury Scobee, our dear friend and long-time personal assistant to Billy and Ruth Graham. Mr. Shea had been the Grand Marshall in the Black Mountain Christmas Parade earlier in the day, and suggested that we sing some carols together. What a wonderful night!

  1. That looks like a great time of fellowship. So sorry we missed the concert and the gathering after the show.
Praying y'all have a very Merry Christmas and hope to see you in the New Year.
