Greetings from the Cockman Family. We hope all is well.
There are two events coming soon that we wanted you to know about. The first is this Saturday, February 25th at Mt. View Baptist Church, 5045 East Maiden Road, Maiden, NC. There will be a special benefit for a friend and neighbor in our community, Gary Parker. Gary was diagnosed with kidney cancer. At 5:00 PM there is a free Poor Man’s Supper in the Fellowship Hall. (Donations accepted). There will be a Silent Auction at that time also. At 7:00 PM Following the meal will be a concert by the Cockman Family in the church sanctuary. A love offering will be taken during the event. For more information or to offer financial assistance please call the church at (704)483-5806. Please come if you can and invite others to do likewise. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
On Thursday, March 1st the Cockman Family will sing in concert at the Billy Graham Training Center at, 1 Porters Cove Road, Asheville, NC. This evening program is designed to encourage senior adult believers to reach their friends and family for Jesus Christ. A buffet-style dinner will be served followed by a worshipful evening of music and fellowship. An optional overnight lodging stay and breakfast is also available.
