Today we sang for the Catawba County Methodist Men's meeting followed by a concert in the beautiful sanctuary of Hopewell United Methodist Church. The church was full and we enjoyed seeing a lot of family and friends. The men's meeting took place over a wonderful breakfast followed by a short concert.
Also, a very happy birthday to our Grandma Gabriel today. We love you so much!
Great News! UNC-TV has approved a one hour special program, "Cockman Family Bluegrass Jam." It will feature traditional bluegrass instrumental and gospel music in a home/family setting. The cast will feature the entire Cockman Family along with nine grandchildren who will participate in the music. In order to proceed with production of the program, we will need corporate sponsorship. UNC-TV grants opportunities for four contributors to be acknowledged in the credits of the program and on videos created for sale. You are invited to tune into the "Front Porch Fellowship" syndicated radio broadcast with Les Butler. The Cockman Family will be the featured Spotlight gospel group during the entire month of March. You can listen to the shows live on solidgospel.com each Sat and Sun, 5 - 6 PM EST. Les will have interviews with the family and music featured from our new album, "Dedicated." In addition to the program being streamed through the internet, it will be aired on over 200 radio stations across the country.
